## Introduction

VideoVault ("we", "our", or "the app") is a local media management application for iPhone and iPad. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.

We designed VideoVault to process your videos and audio **on your device**. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not upload your media files to our servers.

## Information We Do Not Collect

VideoVault does **not**:

- Require you to create an account or sign in  
- Upload your videos, audio, or exported files to our servers  
- Sell your personal information  
- Use advertising SDKs or third-party ad networks  
- Track you across apps or websites for advertising

## Information Stored on Your Device

When you use VideoVault, the following data is stored **locally on your device** only:

- Media files you import (videos and audio)  
- Thumbnails and metadata generated by the app (duration, file size, display names)  
- Playlists you create  
- App preferences (for example, background playback setting and onboarding completion)  
- A local cache of your Pro purchase status (also verified through Apple)

You can delete imported media from within the app. Deleting the app removes app data stored in the app sandbox, subject to iOS behavior.

## Permissions

VideoVault may request the following permissions **only when you use related features**:

## Purchases

VideoVault offers an optional **Lifetime Pro** in-app purchase processed entirely by **Apple StoreKit**. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase history and refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies.

## Sharing and Export

When you use the system share sheet or export features, you choose where files are sent. VideoVault does not automatically send your files to us or to third parties.

## Children’s Privacy

VideoVault is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require registration.

## Data Security

Because your media remains on your device, you are responsible for securing your device (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and backups). We recommend using device encryption and trusted backup methods.
